Master volume control will change wave output volume of soundcard driver. This will affect master computer volume. 

Note: Use player volume control if you need to control volume of specific song. 

You can play 2 songs using 2 instances and control volume of each song by changind player volume. 

To change master volume use:  

Player volume, Slide volume 

Volume control
